![]() I think I'm about 150 days in with my Dunadan character Aglarion. So, should I have spent more time helping my distant allies, or is the burning of ancient halls and the murder of beloved characters just par for the course, and I should keep traipsing about the North with my gang and let the fortunes of the world rise and fall until the Enemy himself should appear on our doorstep? ![]() The worst part is knowing Meriadoc Brandybuck has probably been turned into buffalo wings. ![]() But those southern kingdoms are getting yeeted on to such an extent that has never been seen before in the Hither Lands of Middle-earth, and hope leaves me. Then once the North had been purified, we'd all go gang up on Saruman and Sauron in defense of Rohan and Gondor. My question is: should it be this hard? Am I doing something wrong? My thinking was I'd start in the North, clean the Goblin factions out of the Misty Mountains alongside Elrond and Celeborn, then help the Dwarves, Woodland Elves, and Men of Dale and the Anduin clear out Dol Guldur, Gundabad, and Rhûn. ![]() ![]() So I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since the mod isn't meant to be a perfect reenactment of the events of the War of the Ring, but Rohan has just eaten shit utterly and Isengard and Dunland have entered into Gondor, which is also on its last legs. ![]()
